Is a deposit required to book a hunt?

Yes, we require %50 of the hunt cost to secure a hunt date. Balance must be paid in full in cash prior to hunting.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Can I bring a non-hunting guest?

We can take a limited number of guests but arrangements must be made at booking and will be additional $250 each. Please keep in mind that some of our ranches and/or hunt conditions may not allow us to bring a guest. Be sure to check!

Where are your ranches?

We have ranches located in Shasta County, the nearest city is Redding and also in Colusa County, the nearest city is Williams.

What ranch will we be hunting for my hunt?

This depends on many factors, game activity, number of hunters in your group, time of the year, weather conditions, etc. We will let you know exacly where your hunt will take place at booking or as the date nears.

What caliber is best?

30 caliber or larger. for hogs and bears, we recommend a tough bullet such as a Barnes X, Winchester FailSafe, Speer Grand Slam, A-Frame, etc. Remember though, shot placement is everything!!

Do you rent/loan guns?

No, for liability and safety reasons we do not provide guns.

Are your hunts fair chase?

Yes all hunts are fair chase, no high fences or pen raised animals. These animals are 100% wild.

Are hogs aggresive?

YES! They can be very dangerous and must be approached with caution.

What distances are animals usually taken?

30 to 150 yards

What should I bring?

Rifle and correct caliber ammo, boots, game bags and ice chests for meat, proper clothes for weather conditions, camera, good pair of binoculars.

I'd like to have my trophy mounted. Do you know a taxidermist?

Yes, we have a taxidermist in Shasta County. We can arrange to get your trophy to them. All taxidermy costs are the responsibility of the client.

I'd like to have my animal processed and packaged. Do you know a processor?

Yes, we have a processor in Shasta County. We can arrange to deliver your meat to them. Processing costs are the responsibility of the client.

Can I hunt hogs with a bow?

Some of our ranches are better suited to archery than others. If you plan to hunt with a bow, be sure to let us know at time of booking.
